Busdda's Birthday

I visited Bulgwang Temple in Jurye where I often go
to celebrate Budda's birthday.

It's me. I am giving the baby Budda a bath.

We call this "Gwanbulsik(觀佛式)" that means "giving a bath ceremony"

The reason why we do this is

to wash off our sins or torments from our minds.

Hundreds of lotus lanterns are hanging at the garden in the temple.

I made one hundred and eight bows for worship.

Buddists hang the lotus lantern attached thier family's name tag

to pray the happiness and health of thier family.

All my family's names are written on the tag.

Outdoor Activity - Busan Museum(May 3, 2011)

We want to go to Yigiae

 

We want to go to Yigidae in Yongho-dong.

It's surrounded by the sea and beautiful green forest.

After visiting Yigidae

 we can go to enjoy delicious Ice Red Bean Porrige. Yuhu~~^^

Picnic to Geoje-Island

It was cool and enjoyable.
The Hill of the Wind was so beautiful and the scenery was more fantastic
than I expected. "Sinseondae" was also a wonderful place.
All my classmate-teachers enjoyed themselves to the full.
Thanks to Yunjung and the other co-ordinators as well as Jeff, Noel, Brad, Matt,Will, Kurt, and Sunny.
In addition, lunch was really really delicious.
